Check-in Procedures

Check-in is between 3 pm and 8 pm (unless other arrangements are made in advance)

Susanna will contact you a day or two before check-in to confirm your ETA

Please keep Susanna informed of any travel delays or issues

Susanna will meet you and check you in personally which includes a brief tour of the home to go over basic amenities and where things are/how things used

Home Rules

No smoking/vaping in house – there is a $250 charge if you smoke or vape in the house.  This can increase if circumstances warrant it.

No unregistered guests

Pets must be on leash outside unless free under supervision in the backyard

No pets tied outside or left unattended outside

Pets that chew/scratch furniture or are not housetrained must be in kennel when inside

No underage drinking or illegal drug use

Eat only in Kitchen, Dining Room, Outside

Place all trash in trash bins (every room) – empty bags out of trash cans when needed and place in wheelie bins outside to be collected by the city

If you spill something, clean it up!

Don’t unplug house electronics – use power strips to charge your electronics

Don’t open door to strangers or allow strangers into the house (if any repairs or maintenance are necessary, Susanna will inform you in advance and make every effort to be there with the service provider)

Landscaping/Lawn maintenance may be needed during your stay – you will be informed in advance

Aluminum Cans collected in orange receptacle outside

No moving or removing furniture or decorations in/from the home/property

Please inform Susanna immediately of any accidents or damage so the issue can be dealt with immediately and hopefully prevent further or total loss.

If anything is not working properly, please let Susanna know immediately!

No hair dye in bathroom/shower – no dying hair during stay

Please no fish or seafood in the house (due to lingering odors)

Additional rules for health/safety are posted in house – please follow accordingly

No candles/flames in house.

Check out is by 10 am if not paid for another night.  Late checkout will bill at $25 per hour with partial hours rounded up.

Place all used towels in the Washing Machine

DO NOT strip or remake beds or fold blankets that have been used

Take all trash in bags outside to wheelie bin

Sweep/Vacuum as needed

Wipe down countertops/stove/oven/fridge as needed

Wash all dishes (you may leave them in dish washer or drying rack for Susanna to put away)

Double Check that you have left nothing of value!

Let Susanna know your checkout time in advance and send a text when you have left!
